At Refinery 29’s 29 rooms I had the opportunity to take an aura photo by Radiant Human. Radiant Human “fosters the ephemeral and makes the metaphysical tangible” in a polaroid photo. For $15 you could get a photo of you AND your aura. The experience was pretty amazing. It took place in this dome shaped room. You put your hands on this device and look at the camera for 10 seconds. Then you take the unpeeled polaroid to a someone who peels it and gives you a breakdown of what is happening in your photo. So really this post is for that. I am sharing my aura with you all. 😉 I think it is pretty spot on. I’m interested to see what you guys think.
So the first thing the lady says as she is ripping off the layer covering the film is “Wow. You have a lot going on.” LOL Ain’t that the TRUTH.
So the top half of the portrait is what is going on in my Thoughts/Consciousness.
The bottom left is what’s happening in my self.
And the bottom right is what is happening within my persona aka the aspect of someone’s character that is presented to or perceived by others (thanks dictionary!)
Thoughts/Consciousness: In that area of the photo I have a lot of blue, purple, tan and green.
Blue – Prioritizes Trust, Sensitive to Surroundings, Nurtures Relationships, Empathetic, Intuitive, Depth of Feeling, Introvert
Purple – Visionary, In its own world, Playful, Unconventional, Charismatic, Extrovert, Loves to be inspired and delight others
Tan – Detail Oriented, Cautious, Logical, Results Driven, Intelligent, Restrained, Works well with structure
Green – Goal Oriented, Determined, Perfectionist, Ambitious, Self-Assertive, Adaptable, Critical of Self and Possibly Others
Self (bottom left): Red
Red – Passion, Courage, New Beginnings, Pragmatism, Down to Earth, Stubborn, Action Oriented
Persona (bottom right): Blue
Blue – Prioritizes Trust, Sensitive to Surroundings, Nurtures Relationships, Empathetic, Intuitive, Depth of Feeling, Introvert
I thought this was spot on. Although, it isn’t specific. I really feel like I can identify with each color and how I am coming off outwardly versus internally. I LOVE this photo such a cool thing to do especially if you are into stuff like this. Radiant Human is doing tours throughout the U.S. so definitely check their website out when you get a chance.
