4. ACTUALLY, WHO ARE YOU NOT TO BE?

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

My favorite poem of all time is “Our Deepest Fear” by Marianne Williamson.  I have to thank all of you for supporting me in this journey of making a fashion blog. That may seem random but in thinking of starting a fashion blog I was doubting myself, my style, and my beauty.  With the support of you my blog has really taken off and become something that I am truly proud of.

With this, my confidence in myself has grown 10 fold (if you couldn’t already tell). I have been liberated from the fear that I am not perfect. I have shown you all myself in photography and my writing. I never thought that I would be the one to inspire others in just being okay with being myself.

So thank you all again, for reading and liking my blog. I appreciate more than you all will ever know.

xoxo
