2. LOVE WILL COME

“A busy, vibrant, goal-oriented woman is so much more attractive than a woman who waits around for a man to validate her existence.” ― Mandy Hale

So, relationships. As I scroll through my newsfeeds and see my friends from high school and college getting married and starting families, I’ve felt this unspoken pressure. The pressure to date and find a significant other has never been so prevalent in my life than since I got to college.
I am going to be completely honest with you all and let you know that I am currently not dating anyone. There was a time where I thought this was a bad thing. I felt bad not having any stories or anyone to introduce my family to when they asked. In desperation I joined dating apps and met some pretty creepy people to be completely honest.

But I have realized that love has no timeline. It can’t be rushed. And it WILL come.

Who cares if I haven’t had a long term boyfriend in college? Now is the primetime for me to focus and love myself. So that’s what I am doing. Don’t be afraid of the wait. From what I have hear it’s worth it.

And as one of my co-workers, Savanna, said today, ” The only D you need is a Diploma.”
